In February 2024, the LGCA launched a public education campaign to inform Manitobans of the risks associated with sports betting, specifically in the online context. The campaign dispels some of the myths bettors may hold regarding sports betting, and provides them with lower-risk strategies to reduce their risk of experiencing betting-related harms.
