Setting limits for gambling.

Most people can gamble without experiencing problems. Even if you gamble only occasionally, did you know that there are even more ways to reduce your risk of experiencing harms when you do gamble? Setting limits for yourself, especially before you play, helps lower your risk.

Losing money or having trouble financially are likely what come to mind when you think about gambling risks. There are other harms that can occur such as relationship conflicts, emotional or psychological distress and health issues. People who spend more money when gambling, gamble more often or have other characteristics are at greater risk of gambling harms. Become more aware of your gambling by thinking about it before you play.
